Automotive Sales Consultant

Graham Automotive Group in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant for our dealership who can learn quickly and start generating results immediately. We will assist the ideal candidate for this position in becoming an expert on all the models that we offer! You'll be expected to deliver high quality customer service and become a consultant to each customer on finding the vehicle that aligns perfectly with their needs. If you have a knack for sales and a passion for cars, we want to hear from you. Strong management support and an effective onboarding process will assist your progression in this position.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our current vehicle inventory and use that knowledge to help encourage customers to make an informed purchase based on their needs.
  • Collaborate with our Sales Manager to offer attractive deals on new, certified, and used vehicles to customers. Once trained, you will be able to sell from all of the brands that we represent.
  • Work with the sales and business managers to develop sales agreements that benefit the customer as well as the company.
  • We will assist you to establish and maintain a prospect development plan for your business growth.
  • We provide an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business.
  • Assist in merchandising new inventory in the display areas and on the showroom floor.
 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Previous sales experience a plus, not necessarily automotive.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong computer and technical skills required.
  • 1+ years' experience in retail sales preferred.
  • Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record, and pass a drug screen.

Automotive Technician

Graham Automotive is seeking highly skilled automotive technicians. The right individual will have automotive repair experience, ASE Certification, or a combination of the two. We do offer in-house training, and on-site training by factory reps. Audi, Volkswagen, and Volvo will also provide valuable factory training that you'll be able to attend to help you grow in your career with our organization.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performing all work efficiently and accurately, and in accordance with dealership and factory standards, and operating all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Communicating with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Saving and tagging parts of the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
  • Communicating with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Documenting all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Participating in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
  • Supervising the work of any apprentice technicians as assigned (when applicable).
  • Understanding, keeping up-to-date and complying with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc).
 

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will diagnose the cause of any vehicle malfunction and perform repairs as outlined on the corresponding repair order. You will also be responsible for road-testing repaired vehicles and for determining whether any further safety or service work is necessary.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • ASE certification, preferred.
 

As an Automotive Service Technician, you must be self-motivated with strong mechanical skills, solid organizational skills, and a high degree of attention to detail. It is also important that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to function well in a dynamic team environment.
